Day by day overview:
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your safari transfer guide, and head to your lodge for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Arusha to Lake Eyasi Fly Camp (Ombako)
After breakfast, transfer to Arusha airport for a scheduled flight to Manyara airstrip. Drive to Lake Eyasi, check in at Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp, and explore the ancestral homeland of the Hadza people. Spend the night in a tree nest under the star-studded sky.
Day 3: Lake Eyasi Fly Camp
Wake early for a Hadza experience—hunting, gathering, and hiking in the woodlands. Share a meal with the Hadza and explore the stunning surroundings. Move to Ombako camp on the lake shore, enjoying a forest walk or village tour.
Day 4: Lake Eyasi
Continue the Hadza adventure with foraging and hunting experiences. Return to Kisima Ngeda Camp for lunch, a shower, and rest. Afternoon forest walk or village tour.
Day 5: Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National Park
Transfer to Lake Manyara airstrip and fly to the Serengeti. Arrive at Olmara Tented Camp in the eastern part of the park. After lunch and a short rest, embark on an afternoon safari walk ending at your fly camping site. Experience a night in the wilderness.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Embark on a guided walking safari, exploring the secrets of the Serengeti on foot. Encounter elephants, scan kopjes for hidden owls, and marvel at the wildlife. Return to Olmara Tented Camp for the night.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park
Set out for a full day of exploration in the remote and wildlife-filled pocket of the Serengeti. Witness predator activity and the untouched beauty of this unspoiled area.
Day 8: Serengeti National Park
Explore another day in the remote and silent Serengeti region. Encounter wildlife amidst the grassy plains and acacia trees. Revel in the natural wonders of this unique ecosystem.
Day 9: Departure
Enjoy a final game drive en route to Seronera airstrip, making the most of your remaining time in the park.
